MAKEUP TUTORIALS
EXISTING : $4/copy
REQUEST : $8/copy

These are ideal for productions for which the performers are required to apply their own makeup. My makeup tutorials are clearly written step-by-step instructions on how to apply any selected character's makeup for someone who has never used theatrical makeup before or isn't sure of their technique for such an extensive application.

Each tutorial is individually geared toward a specific character from the show and is filled with closeup shots and comprehensive shots of the makeup process along the way. It will walk you through the materials needed (including a list of the makeup brands and colors I used), how to apply the color evenly, how to create the necessary markings, and where to place them according to your own facial structure. It explains not only how, but why, offering a deeper understanding in the makeup process and allowing the performer the freedom to skillfully apply a makeup design that will suit them.

Each 4-7 page (average) makeup tutorial that you order will be printed in color along with a full-page picture of the completed makeup design and mailed to you promptly. You are welcome to order a tutorial for any design you wish (including tweaked designs to fit your costumes), and I will do my best to achieve your satisfaction. Please browse my makeup gallery if you need ideas. Any picture marked with a * has a tutorial available all ready, and is $4/copy. If you would like a tutorial for any other faces, including ones I have not yet done, the commission price will increase to $8/copy.
