My name is David Walker and I am the Costume Designer of Cats that was performed at Manatee Players for a four-week run During January/February 2008. I cannot say enough nice things about Roxanne and her abilities when it comes to creating and consulting on Cats costumes.

She built 4 wigs for our production that not only made it through a rigorous production that included using spirit gum on the wigs, but spraying with hairspray nightly as well as weekly washing and restyling. These wigs were definitely of the highest quality and worth every penny. They were also done extremely fast and payment and shipping was professionally handled.

Roxanne also created make-up designs for some of my performers. Because this was a small regional theater we had no budget for make-up artists so it was essential that the actors be able to do their own make-up and it look amazing. Many of our actors had never done make-up of any kind and due primarily to Roxanne's very detailed instructions they were able to perfect their make-up skills in only 2 rehearsals. And most amazing of all the tutorials came with pictures and were very inexpensive. She asked me what cast of Cats from around the world I would like them based on and took my changes for the finished tutorials.

Finally Roxanne also consulted with me during the course of building this show. She gave advice from painting techniques, to materials, to what type of yarn to use for leg warmers.

I can honestly say that without Roxanne and fourwaystretch our production would never have been at the level it turned out to be. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to do a quality production of Cats. She is not only the most skilled creator of Cats costumes I have meant outside of Broadway, but one of the kindest and patient artists I have worked with.
